Another equally impressive demo at the recent Tizen Developer Conference in San Francisco was that of the upcoming Tizen Animation Framework. The quick demo, presented by Samsung’s Executive Vice President, J-D Choi, shows an EFL-based (Elightenment Foundation Libraries) accelerated multi-touch user interface, scaling and rotating a running video, without dropping frames.
In one of the keynotes on the recent Tizen Developer Conference in San Francisco, Samsung’s Executive Vice President, J-D Choi gave a demo of purely HTML5/CSS3 written apps on Tizen. The impressive HTML5 demos were shown live, running on a prototype device (which several folks are saying was a Samsung Galaxy S II). The demos presented were the three different Gallery user interfaces, Media Cube, CSS-based photo transition, and the upcoming Phone interface.
